This is one of my guides dedicated towards the new map pack, this one is all about Nightfire, an interesting map with many different areas where certain classes can succeed. Tactics for Run n Gun

Quickly rush towards the enemy side and overpower them in CQC, try to avoid long range, if you are attacked at long range do not try to fight back, simply run behind the nearest cover. Avoid the central courtyard or you will be destroyed by people hanging back with semi-autos or snipers.

Tactics for Support Sniper

Do not camp in one place for the whole map, move with your team and protect them from the enemy from a distance. Place your betties to cover your team, not yourself specifically. Avoid direct contact and swap your pistol for an SMG as soon as possible. Be sure not to follow your team into CQC situations, hang back on the corners and let your rushers take the beating.

Tactics for Defensive Sniper

Hang back on one of the roofs behind some sandbags or corrugated steel, pick off the rushers and be careful about snipers or semi auto’s on the opposite roofs or behind barrels. Make sure you cover yourself with betties. If there are 3 routes onto your spot be sure to either have an SMG wielding ally cover this area, or at least keep watch of it yourself.

Tactics for Tactical Advance

Do not rush with most of your teammates, hang back behind some of the many barrels which make good cover, and pick off people that get past your rushers. Stick to the areas around the 2 most commonly used rushing routes, excluding the courtyard.

Tactics for Ninja

There are a lot of different tactics that could be used on separate game modes for this class, but most of them can be summed up by using an unpopulated route to get behind the enemy, then slaughter them without them knowing a thing, on Domination this can be an excellent class for capturing the point on the other side of the map to your spawn point, both of which have only CQC fighting nearby them, and you can hold your own in CQC if necessary.

Sniping

This is a fairly simple map for sniping, though some people make obvious flaws while sniping, some general hints are:

  1. Do not snipe on ground level close to the courtyard.
  2. Do not leave your whole body exposed, it allows SMG’ers to kill you easily.’
  3. Be sure to check behind barrels!
  4. Set up your betties in non-obvious places, or around corners.

The best locations on this map are all located on the roofs, so anywhere on the roof of buildings is golden really, if a sniper is dominating your team be sure to move quickly to counter-snipe him while he is focused on your rushers.

Rushing

Both of the most direct routes are long thin areas, so check for campers as you go around the corner before proceeding, once you’ve got around head towards the roofs to destroy the enemy snipers and pick off enemies hanging back on the ground level. Use a Type 100 and stick to CQC, or use a PPsh and be more versatile but not as good in CQC. This is your choice, change it to suit your play style.

Hanging Back

Use a semi auto, preferably an SVT or Gewehr 43 and get behind some barrels. Aim for the snipers, make sure you use aperture so you have enough accuracy to take out roof snipers. Go to anywhere you have a good view of the courtyard and the most commonly used sniping spots. I hope this guide will help you on this map, please post any suggestions you have that I should add to the guide.
